Sessions are available in home, virtually, or through contract based services, so you can choose the option that fits your family or organization best.
AAC

AAC, or augmentative and alternative communication, includes tools and strategies that support communication when speech is limited or unreliable. This might be a tablet with a speech app, or a low tech option like picture boards. AAC helps individuals share their needs, ideas, and personality in a clear, supported way.
language

Language includes understanding (receptive) and expressing thoughts (expressive). Receptive challenges can look like difficulty following directions or understanding questions. Expressive challenges can include trouble sharing ideas, answering questions, or joining conversations. Support is tailored to your childs strengths and everyday communication needs.
social skills

Social communication is using language to connect with others and build relationships. This can include conversation skills, self advocacy, perspective taking, and understanding boundaries. Goals are neurodiversity affirming and focused on authentic connection, not masking. Support is personalized to help your child feel confident and understood.
Speech Sounds

Speech sound challenges can make speech harder to understand, or a child may struggle with certain sounds like r or sh. There are different types of speech sound disorders, and the right approach depends on the pattern and underlying needs. Therapy is individualized to build clearer speech while supporting confidence.

literacy

Oral language and literacy are closely connected, so speech and language challenges can also impact reading and writing. Support may include sound awareness, letter sound connections, decoding, comprehension, spelling, or writing organization. Goals are practical and matched to school and real life demands.

OMT

Orofacial myofunctional therapy supports healthy patterns for the lips, tongue, and breathing. It can help address concerns like tongue thrust, open mouth posture, and oral motor patterns that impact speech, feeding, or dental development. If an airway or medical concern is suspected, collaboration or referral to a physician or ENT may be recommended.

FLEXIBLE IN PERSON & ONLINE CARE
Services are available in your home or through secure online teletherapy. Together we will choose the option that fits your family, schedule, and comfort level. Teletherapy brings speech therapy to you through secure video sessions. It can be a great fit for busy families, homebodies, or children who do best in their own space. Support may include direct sessions with your child, parent coaching, or a combination of both. All sessions are provided through a PIPEDA compliant platform and are tailored to your goals, just like in person care.
