the owner and founder of Speaking Clairely. I’m a registered speech-language pathologist. I received my Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology and my Bachelor of Arts in Linguistics, both from the University of British Columbia, Canada.
I have always been passionate about how humans learn language. Although I have been an SLP for just over 7 years, my journey began in 2013 as a volunteer at a paediatric speech clinic while studying at UBC. That experience ignited my passion for helping people communicate —and it’s been my focus ever since.
Over the years, I’ve supported children and youth in a variety of settings, including schools, early intervention clinics, and private practice. I have had the privilege to work with clients at various stages of life, from infancy and toddlerhood all the way to teenage years.

I am passionate about including caregivers and care team members in your child's communication journey through coaching and consultation. When we collaborate, we can help a child achieve so much more!
For young children, I utilize a play-based therapy approach. With older children and teens, we include your child when planning language, speech, academic and/or social goals and find meaningful ways to motivate their progress. For each client, I strive to honour their unique needs and interests. I'm also a firm believer that a strengths-based approach is essential for success.

Outside of work, you can usually find me reading, travelling to warm tropical places, and keeping active with heavy weights or combative sports.
